SANAS-accredited testing across microbiological, chemical, physical and operational water-quality parameters.
LNW’s Scientific Services Unit carries out water-quality testing at its SANAS-accredited laboratory. Testing supports SANS 241 drinking-water requirements and the operational management of water treatment systems.
The laboratory analyses potable, borehole, river and effluent water. Sample collection services are available by arrangement.
Testing includes indicator organisms used to assess the microbiological safety of water.
Analyses cover health, aesthetic and operational chemical parameters relevant to water quality.
Physical parameters such as turbidity, colour, conductivity and dissolved solids support treatment and compliance decisions.
Routine and investigative testing helps treatment teams monitor processes and respond to emerging water-quality risks.
